Layout Planner – Aloha, Oregon

Summary

Corbin Consulting is a growing engineering consulting firm of 90+ staff members with offices in Beaverton, Oregon and Tempe, Arizona.  Our clients are world leaders in advanced technology and industrial production. 

We are seeking an experienced layout planner to support a semiconductor manufacturer in Aloha, Oregon.  You will work with peers and mentors with a wide range of experience levels. 

Responsibilities:

This is an entry- to mid-level position for applicants with AutoCAD layout experience for creation of semiconductor tool layouts.  We are looking for candidates qualified to perform the following tasks:

  • Creation of gaming and final tool layouts in AutoCAD, using the client’s CAD standards.
  • As-builting of existing tools in cleanrooms, support areas and labs.
  • Development of tool blocks in AutoCAD using supplier site preparation guides for reference.
  • Coordination with planner team members and client engineers.
  • Participation in internal review meetings to discuss schedules, workload and progress.
Expectations:

This is an entry- to mid-level position for applicants with an Associate of Science in AutoCAD, or equivalent.  We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Excellent AutoCAD skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and team players.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to learn quickly and grasp new concepts.
  • Dedication and commitment, including punctuality and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor facilities is a plus.

Please identify any relevant skills you might have, such as modeling and drafting in other software. Please provide any past work or volunteer experience in your response, including those that may be non-engineering related.
